Torres del Paine National Park Entrance Ticket: Categories, Hours and Booking Steps

Buy a Torres del Paine National Park entrance ticket through the official service. Check visitor categories and separate entry from beds and transport.

A Torres del Paine National Park entrance ticket is park entry. It does not reserve a campsite, refugio, ferry or guided walk. Buy the right pass through the official route. Keep the other trek records separate.

Use the Pases Parques service linked by CONAF to choose Torres del Paine, the visit date and the correct visitor category. Read the selected pass's terms before paying. Keep the pass available for entry checks. Overnight bookings and transport remain separate tasks unless your package explicitly includes them. A ticket does not override a closed trail.

Where to buy park entry

CONAF's park homepage directs visitors to Pases Parques. Start from that authority link rather than an advertisement or a reseller's search result.

Select the real park in the service. Read the date and visitor selection before paying. A receipt for another protected area cannot substitute for this park's pass.

CONAF links Pases Parques from the park's own website. Use that route to reach the park product rather than a search advertisement with a similar title. Checked October 2026, the product is named Torres del Paine National Park. Confirm the park and date before selecting visitors; a pass for another protected area does not serve this entrance.

First select a date. The portal then shows the relevant places and total. A search-result headline is not a price for your chosen date and party.

We have not made a purchase. We do not quote a fare we have not read for the selected visit. Check the total for your actual party before you pay.

Categories validity and documents

The ticket service distinguishes visitor categories. Use each person's correct category. Keep the documents that prove it under the ticket rules. Do not assume one category covers a mixed party.

The ticket page separates national and foreign visitor selections. Its rules allow them in the same cart before payment. This was checked October 2026. Read the current rule when completing your own purchase.

The default national daily selector showed the following labels and age bands when checked October 2026. These bands appear in that selector. Foreign and multi-day products may use other groups. Select the right nationality and type of visit first. Then choose each person's band.

Label in the national daily selectorAge band displayedWhat to confirm
National adult daily18 to 59National eligibility and the selected daily product
Young national daily13 to 17Age on the date and visitor details
Child0 to 12Whether the selected child product needs its own ticket
Older adult60 to 99Eligibility for this category in the actual visitor group
Person with disability0 to 99The supporting document required by the portal

A group label does not prove a free fare. Who qualifies and what they pay are separate questions. Nor does a zero quantity beside a category mean a zero fare. Read the selected ticket and ask the official help route about any document requirement that is unclear.

For a mixed party, select national visitors and foreign visitors in separate processes. Pases Parques then asks you to add both to the same cart before paying. This was checked October 2026.

Choose the right group for each person. Then check the shared cart. Do not put everyone into the first group you picked.

Use the same name and ID details as the document you will carry. Save the confirmation and entry code offline, along with the selected date and park name. A payment message can help with a bill query. Keep the actual entry pass too. You need it at the gate.

For an overnight trek, check that the chosen pass covers the full visit. A daily label should not be assumed to cover every night of a W. Read the duration offered after selecting your dates and nationality. If a package supplies entry, get the actual ticket details from the organiser before buying another pass.

How entry differs from overnight booking

Get the overnight sequence settled before relying on a multi-day plan. Then buy the park pass that fits the real visit. The entry service cannot solve a missing bed or a failed link between booked nights.

Use the park guide to set the route. If you prefer a booked day, compare the park tour choices.

Your pass grants the admission described in its terms. It does not reserve Central, Grey or another campsite. Book those stays through their own managers. Compare every night with the linked walking stage, especially when the route crosses more than one manager.

Likewise, a boat ticket cannot override a trail closure. Checked October 2026, the portal states that the Paine Massif circuit remains closed until 31 October 2026, with reopening assessed against conditions. That notice must be read before buying an early O route. It does not imply every road visit or W section is closed.

The portal's guide rule for Base Torres and the W covers 27 April to 15 September 2026. It may last longer if winter conditions require it. A pass purchased without a guide is not evidence that the rule does not apply. Match any future trip to its own current notice, rather than reusing this year's date range as a permanent annual rule.

When and where entry is checked

Keep the pass and passenger documents ready in a form you can open without a signal. Check the names and date before travel. Correct errors through the ticket service's own process.

Entry hours do not prove the latest start for a hike. A trail can have an earlier cutoff or a limit for conditions. Check the route's rule separately before setting your walking day.

The checked portal lists 07:00 to 21:00 for October to April. From May to September, it lists 08:00 to 18:30. These general park hours apply every day. It warns that weather or safety provisions can change them. These are general entrance hours, not the latest permissible start for a long hike.

For example, CONAF's 2026 Base Torres advice gives a 09:00 latest entry and a 15:00 exit time for the walk. Clarify the relevant trail checkpoint with staff. Arriving at an open park gate late in the day does not make an eight-hour trail possible or authorised.

Choose the entrance from your route. An eastern Base Torres plan often uses Laguna Amarga before continuing to the Welcome Center. A Pudeto crossing needs its road arrival and boat booking separately. Give the transport seller the actual end point rather than relying on a general park ticket to establish where the bus goes.

Register where the park requires it. CONAF says visitors must register at ranger stations, with departure registration also required at Paso and Los Perros. Carry the overnight evidence for an overnight route. Buying entry is one task done. You still need the other checks for your route.

Refund and change rules

Read the selected ticket's terms. Use this ticket service's own refund terms. Do not copy another seller's policy or another country's park rules. If you need to amend the date, use the official service's current process.

Keep the trek bookings together

Compare the W Trek package choices when you want one seller to arrange the walking trip.

Read the terms attached to the selected entry product before you pay. Save those terms with your confirmation. We have not inferred a universal refund period from an accommodation or transport provider, because those are separate contracts. A changed ferry does not automatically amend a park pass.

If an organiser handles entry, ask who requests a change and what evidence you will receive. Check whether a new date also changes the overnight sequence. Avoid buying a second pass in haste until the official seller or organiser has explained the existing ticket's position.

Before leaving the booking screen, check the park name, date and each visitor category against the intended trip. Then compare the cart total with the payment confirmation. Resolve a mismatch through the official support channel while you still have access to the booking records. Keep personal records private. Take the entry evidence you need on the trip.

Questions and next planning step

Does park entry include camping?

No camping place is established by entry alone. Reserve the named overnight service separately unless a package explicitly includes it. Keep the booking record with the park pass. Check every night against the allowed route. One booked campsite is not a complete trek.

Can I use one category for the whole group?

Use the category that applies to each person. The ticket page distinguishes national and foreign visitors and gives a process for mixed selections. Read it during your purchase. Keep the documents required for a discounted or exact category. Avoid assuming the seller will accept a verbal answer.

Does an entry ticket guarantee that a trail is open?

No. Park entry and route access are different matters. A trail can close or need chosen plans even while visitors can enter elsewhere. Check CONAF's dated notice and the local rule before walking. Do not treat a ticket or a tour sold online as access to ignore a limit.

Can I change the pass after purchase?

Use the official service's terms and manage-booking route for your real pass. We do not promise that every ticket can be moved or refunded. Check the rule before paying if flexibility matters. A change to a park pass also leaves campsite and transport dates to be checked separately.
